Most oral health professionals underserve menopausal patients - not because they don’t care, but because they simply don’t know any better. Yet many RDHs feel they weren't equipped with the necessary tools to properly care for menopause patients. In fact, 76% of hygienists felt dental hygiene school did not prepare them to educate their patients on the oral changes during menopause.
